The Mopar winter Front does fit nicely , but the install instructions :banghead: You really should remove the grill for the 1st install. Here's some Pic's.

You will need to remove the (4) 10mm bolts shown in the instructions.

Any concern with scratching or rubbing? I have seen bras on cars rub the paint off and mark the chrome

Right now its 9* in Blaine, Yesterday the high was 14*, With pockets open and no towing I will be leaving it on until above 40*, towing I will remove it, The IC flap I would not use unless -0 temps, a lot of cold air can travel thru those 4 open holes, remember the trans cooler is behind the cover so leaving it on when warm will increase the trans temps, With the CAC/IC below the radiators (2013+ 3500 has 2 radiators) You want to have running temps ASAP with SCR.

I'm in central Iowa pretty much a week end warrior with my truck but will be installing on mine. Once we thaw back out it will come off, no towing in winter other then a load of firewood maybe. I did some running yesterday and noticed it didn't seem to take long to warm up - only about 19 outside. Have added anti-jell to fuel but truck starts right up with remote from house

The EGR warms the coolant quickly, When cold remote start wait 2/3 Minutes at idle then Ramp to 1000rpms hit the exhaust button so its yellow run 5 minutes and you will 140+ coolant temp and 80/90* oil temp with 60/70* Trans temp even at 0.

I would not recommend any additive for gelling unless 0 or below temps. the fuel In MN and most of IA is good to -0 retail pumped.

Its not dumb to ask... No it should be good to 0* check with your local supplier they will be happy that you inquired and be more then willing to show the refinery's drop sheet.

I have noticed mine will start right up run then it idles up until I touch the brake pedal? Then it idles at normal RPM
That's OK...just hit the exhaust brake button you will hear the tone of the motor change, No need to worry it will disengage at 160* coolant or XXX exhaust Temp. and the idle will drop to default, if you leave the truck run.

Some do ,some don't, I don't believe the pumps, I go directly to the counter and demand the drop sheet (its the law in most States to have this document behind the counter or posted).

Installed mine a few days ago, it took longer to pull the 5 bottom plastic clips and attach the snaps then it did to put the winter front on after. Total time was half hour. No grill removal, just followed instructions. It fits awesome, nice and tight. Grill was super clean and I'm not worried that the grill will show any wear but I guess we'll find out in the spring.
