If you're leveled with a spacer on top of the front shocks it's easy to just measure that. If it's lifted with new springs that's a little tougher. Height seems to vary a bit depending on tires, load, how old the springs are...
Yeah, except for weight and sag. I've got a heavy bumper and winch that settle down the front end for 1/2" or so. Most lifts on these trucks are 3", some are 6", or you can go really crazy if you want...I thought if I measure center axle to top of wheel well and then did the same to my truck the difference should be the lift.
Yes it would. But from what I've seen most guys measure from the ground to the fender (myself included). Those are the numbers I had saved in my phone... didn't feel like going out and remeasuring.I think the OPs idea of measuring from center axle rather than ground would eliminate tire size as a variable?
