PS reservoir is kinda low on the front drivers side, mine didnt have a stick either, just a cap but you should be able to look into the reservoir and determine how much is in there.

About 2 years ago, my power steering reservoir belched fluid out. Not sure how it happened. But did leave a mess on garage floor. There were no signs of any leaks or bad power steering hoses. I added fluid back to the proper level, and had zero issues since. Yes the power steering reservoir sits low. I use a flash light to shine on the reservoir to aid in checking fluid level. There is 'minimum and maximum' level lines on fluid canister. Hope this helps some.

Mine is losing coolant mysteriously on the front drivers side then slinging it everywhere along the rad support down to the track bar, hell even some on the sway bar link. Did you check to see what fluids you may be low on? Maybe a leak at the windshield washer reservoir?
