OK I got a problem with my 6.7. Started a couple days after I installed s&b intake with scoop. Its sputtering during acceleration and while I'm pulling hill's and sometimes while crusin. I thought it might be the maf or map sensor since I just took them out while installing intake. But I have no clue. Someone please help me.

Not getting any cel or codes? When was the fuel filter changed last? All the connections good and connected on the intake? Not trying to ask stupid question but sometimes its the little things.

You try putting the stock intake back on to rule the s&b out?

I think someone put their MAF sensor in backwards awhile back and caused problems. Just spitballing here!

Definitely a possibility. Isn't there a arrow on it for the flow or something like that for a reference point

Well the easy stuff is pretty much ruled out that I can think of. I was going to mention the throttle valve but I seen that's not a issue. Spitting and sputtering has to be something to do with air or fuel. Haven't noticed any wetspots under the truck like a small fuel leak have you? Or maybe the airdog is trying to loose prime.

I haven't seen any leaks ckecked all fuel lines from tank to engine. I'm wondering if when I got my head studs done about a month ago something worked its self loose or like intake elbow gasket gasket under heater grid if not replaced with new one or just any thing injectors I have no clue I checked all plumming and fuel lines to engine I'm not so good with a diesel to just go checking stuff with out knowing

Could it b as simple as I got a bad tank of fuel and need to drain tank blow out lines and change filter and separator
Never know it could be. Honestly I would at least change the filters to see if it makes any difference.

When I say sputtering I guess it more like is running rough like a gas engine would if it was missing or something I'll take it down the road in morning and get a better description of what its doing.

If that's not it. It could be something like the crank/cam sensor. Just more of a guessing game after the normal stuff is ruled out. For me anyways.

Gotta question. Had a voltage light come on in dash the other in the mix of all the unplugging and plugging up sensors. Which got me to thinking could it be a voltage issue even tho volts are in good condition could it be one battery or an alternator going bad. Just was crazy a volt light came on.
