So my buddy has a 2012 3500 SRW and he is looking into a 2-2.5 leveling spacer and he is wondering if he NEEDS new front shocks? Or if they are just a common thing to swap while doing the install?

I have 3" spacers with original shocks. Its inexpensive and gets the job done. Eventually I plan to put in proper coils and better shocks.

i have the 2" spacer and ran stock shocks for a few thousand miles but upgraded to some bilstiens front and back and what a huge difference in ride and drive arty018:

Sweet I appreciate the info, any issues with stock track bars or anything? I am not familiar with these year trucks myself.
