Has anyone else out there had a problem w/no power and inability to tow anything. Truck has been in the dealer over 30 days now and is still not fixed here is what it does towing with new turbo. please see videos.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

What all has the dealer done? I'm assuming it's stock?

At roughly 3:30 on the first vid, the gauge goes from 17 to 20 or a little over then way down; was that you or the truck by itself?

all they have done is replace the whole turbo, sometimes it will jump to 30 psi and come right back to 17. 17 psi. seems to be the default other times when it is really bad it will not go over 10 at any time. the exhaust also smells terrible from time to time. The worse thing is now they have transfering it to different dealers as they dont know what to do with it.

Almost seems like an electronic issue, as in it's not commanding fuel due to bad information it's seeing?:confused013:

Does it only do this when pulling a load, or when empty as well?

The sad part with many dealers is, there aren't any "real" mechanics. If there's no code telling them what to look at, nothing's wrong in their book. Hope ya get it fixed.

What year was the truck that had the fuse for the lift pump missing? If I remember right, it was M25. I'll search and see if I can find it.

It was a 2011 Ram 3500 too.

Ok it is M25 that is clearly marked in the fuse panel. There is a spot for a fuse next to M25 that does not have a fuse in it and that’s where the fuse was installed from the factory.

I did not know it was doing it all the time tell I was so pissed off I threw a gauge in it up north this saturday! That is when I seen it fluctuating all the time. It is also getting teriable fuel millage between 7 and 10 no matter what.

Go check your underhood fuse box. On the bottom side of the lid is a diagram. Look for the M25 fuse location and see if there is a fuse in that spot.

That would be cool if this was the problem and he couuld go show the dealer what they missed. I hope for the OP that this fuse is misplaced. Easy fix.:thumbsup:

You know you got problems when an Escort pulls you on a hill:hehe:. If the fuse for lift pump is missing your Cp3 is drawing fuel with no help, could be the problem , let us know what happens please.

Yes fuse is good and drawing about 8 amps current

UPDATE purchased truck on 11/22/11 has not worked since 3rd day of ownership, this week they put another turbo on it still not working, replaced ecu, did latest update, map and external boost gauge match. ps. there is no check engine light. Note: on tuesday of next week cummins will be out to look at truck since chrysler has been unable to diagnose problem. I hate to say it but i am lossing my faith in this entire process.

time to lemon law that B!TCH. ! Over time and repair attempts. To me, you've been pretty patient. Get a good lawyer, he'll get you a new truck..
