A buddy of mine is looking to do a turbo upgrade to his truck and wanted to know if he needed to do a trans upgrade. I told him that he would unless he wanted to drive around without getting on it hard.

I told him he would at least do a TC, VB, Flex Plate, and Input Shaft.

Do you think this is all that is needed for a truck with bully dog and exhause and intake. that want to do a silver bullet 66? Let me know what you think.

What other mods does he have? A billet input is probably overkill.

Knowing him he will do a boosted launch with the new turbo, since he is 20 and other friend will want to race him.

He has Bully Dog GT, intake, and exhaust. then the silver bullet 66 after tranny mod.
