Does anyone know how often the fuel filter should be changed on the 2007 6.7? I had a 2003 5.9 and changed it every 10,000 miles.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I just flipped out when autozone wanted $75 for the filter. I am used to paying $20 for my 2003.

What is the best way to change the piece of SHI* fuel filter on the 6.7?

I dont really have a problem getting it off, I just seem to get diesel everywhere even when I drain it. Very bad design

Yes. When I try to drain it not very much comes out of it.

So you twist it off a little to vent it and break the vacuum so it will drain all of the fuel out of the housing?
