other than the helper spring in the rear, and the front axle springs being a tad stiffer. . .that little DOT sticker on the side of the drivers door. . .thats the difference if both trucks are set up exactly the same.
if you look at ford and chevy the numbers are similar between the 3/4 and 1 ton models with the single axle.
if you look at both, the drivetrain is the same. . .brakeing system is the same. It is all about DOT rules and regulations.
