2005 ccsb 5.9 245k acts crazy when I rev it in neutral???i

I have a 2005 cummins that sometimes has dead pedal and no power, no check engine light puffs black smoke when that happens, but the most noticeable problem Is when I rev it in neutral it stays reved for a while and then misses like hell when it come back down for a few seconds.... Thanks for any help in advance

Sound like injectors or fuel related. Mine was doing the same and stopped with new injectors.

Anyone else? I was thinking it might be the electronic pedal.
