does anyone know if it is possible to pull the crank with out pulling the cam gear on the front....

I have the engine out and on a stand. I would like to know if I can take the crank out without pulling all the other gear assemblies and gear case.

The answer is maybe,I took the vp44 off,pulled the cam,and aluminum gear casing. I'm not 100% sure it all had to come off,but having the casing off definitly gave me a lot more room.Just curious would a 6.7 crank with stroker rods and pistons be an option.hmmmm.
