It has a newer vp44 and a lift pump installed but it a auto he said the former owner rebuilt it but don't know what done.
He said it handled level 10 on a quad adr I assume that adrenaline? Should I get it or not even up trade mine has a built auto. The guy I'm trading knows cause he installed it.

What?
I don't want to sound like a d!ck but I'm having trouble understanding...
Are you trading a truck or buying? If buying how much? How many miles?
If trading what are the specs on your trade and the one your looking at?

A little more info that was a little more clear would be a big help!

Mine96 286k 2wd 7.3 built up to 350hp. The guy who wants to trade built it up

His 00 210k 2wd 5.9 with new vp and aftermarket liftpump and a stack rebuilt auto. He don't know what done to it cause he received it that way.

Which is the better value

Trading a 7.3 with 286k for a Cummins with 210k sounds like a deal, but the rest sounds like speculation. Are the two trucks comparable otherwise? Why does your buddy want to trade?

I'm just worried about that 47re. Cause u can hear every Cummins just howl till they shift and it sounds bad and makes u look slow and touched.

If I could talk him out of a few bills $$I'd feel better.

First off no stock trans will handle pl10 on a quad adr. All thats happening there is the tc is getting a good roasting from all the slipping. The 47re is easy to beef up and depending on hp goals it doesn't cost huge $$. A shift kit, low stall after market tc and servo upgrades will make a night and day difference to these trucks. The fact the dodge has a new engine, vp and lp makes it look real attractive to me. Do a few bits to the trans and you'll have a monster.

He said it was holding fine he said it shifts firmer than stock.. so what's the max I can't get on stock turbo and injectors power wise.

Lots of guys running 7x.010 (150hp) injectors on their stock turbo but it will get hot quick when you step on it. I can't remember but I think you have a hx35 turbo, I think it was only the 01 and up auto's that came with the hy35. If it's the latter you have then I wouldn't go any bigger then 75hp injectors max. However before you go adding any power a good lp is a top priorty.

It got a airdog so I assume it good. Id love to hit 400hp for fairly cheap with no reliably lost

I'm knocking on 400hp on the 7.3 but I miss a Cummins. Idk cause cause it got 4:10 to 3:54 so I'd do that cause it be better fuel mileage

If the dodge drives and looks good and is clean and tidy in appearance then I say go for it. Just drive it like you stole it on a test drive, nothing shows up any problems like a good stiff drive.

Sorry man, I really don't know what it's worth state side, here in Ireland a nice clean 2nd gen dodge would get somewhere between 6 and 8k euro's. I don't know what that is in dollars but if you want to google the current exchange rate that will tell you.
