Can I just install 2" spacers and nothing to level my truck or is it a must to add shocks and trackbar? If I can spend $60 to have level truck and still ride and drive good ill do it.

You can run 2" level with no other mods. Longer shocks wouldn't hurt though

Any change from before the spacers? Should I go 2 or 2.5 for a level truck. I don't want the front higher than the rear I would hate that even more which is why I was thinking 2".

Why is that? Ride rough?

With a 2" spacer the stock shocks are almost maxed out on travel. Getting the correct length shocks will do wonders for the ride quality. You really only need to replace the front shocks. You can find Bilstein 5100s for around $75 each.

This is a 2.5 and sits almost exactly level if you ask me.

You can buy the Rancho 9000XL for $80 ea and get a 9 way adjustable shock. I have them on my truck I also added the Rancho Myride to it as well and can change the shocks stiffness on the fly via wireless controller.

adding to what mach1 said,my friends '05 had a stock track bar with a 2" leveling kit,and from it having side tension on it all the time, the bushing got destroyed. and obviously that caused some problems with wandering,clicking/creeking and putting more strain on the other front end components trying to hold the axle under the truck. for longevity of ur truck i would get it when u order the leveling kit or very soon after.

I have not leveled mine yet, not sure that I want too.I tow a lot and don't want it squatting in the rear.It doesn't rub after I did some inner fender modifications.Would like some opinions on the stance.Sorry to hijack your thread.

Nice difference, I also have the 2" level kit on mine with 33" toyo's. my truck pulls to right ever since is that becaus of the level kit? Would a track bar possibly correct that? And yes I'd recommend the longer shocks, a few times going over certain humps in the road my shocks have fully extended and I could feel it.

I feel exactly the same, so my plan was to install 2 inch spacers on front with upgraded Bilstein 5100 steering stabilizer, adjustable track bar and then install 1 inch or 1.5 inch blocks in the rear. After these 33's are worn out I'll install the 35's.
