I finally finished that fuel pump swap. Pretty straight forward. Only modifications were bigger holes on the bracket that holds all the bracket that holds all the cables at the front of the pump, and a little bit of work with the throttle linkage.

The motor starts and revs up fine, but when cold it will stall if I let off the throttle fast. I'm thinking maybe I need to increase the idle speed.

hey whats your ride joe
I'm from Lantz, NS. and the reason you don't know that is I don't know how to tell you on my registration. I tried to put a picture of the truck but it tells me that I ran out of storage or the picture is to big. I just thought that it's because I didn't pay to join the form. Any way, I have a pretty blue short box 2500, Cummings 5.9 2006. Something I learned is, it's a 3rd gen. In pretty good shape. One exception I need a transmission job. I'm in Florida just now, sure hope I can make it home to Lantz. So if you see a light blue Thunder Road Dodge on the side of the road at least smile and wave as you go by.
Heading home on Wed. and through NB on Saturday. The parade well be about 3:00 in the afternoon.

Anyone know a good performance shop? Dealing with the Dodge Death Wobble right now, but when that's sorted out the DPF is going to fall off.

moving to moncton

hey all we are planning on moving to NB,but probably not be there until june.Looking into buying a house with a good size shop and hopefully a good size yard. Then maybe be able to host some bomb parties, that is how I learned to do a lot on my trucks over the years,Started with a 92,then totaled it got a 93,then needed something with more room for kids so picked up an 84 crewcab with cummins, then got an 85 crewcab dually with cummins, but then my dad gave me his 01 dually 4x4,so been working on it putting performance stuff on it.All Dodges.Actually heading to a bomb party weekend of march the 22 in Covington Washington, going to get my exhaust brake, bigger turbo and 4"down pipe put on.Anyhow kinda looking forward to moving there never been, big step to make but hopefully it is for the better, wife has job at Casino New Brunswick and I will have to look for work somewhere.Hear it is a nice friendly place to live.We have quads too and hear there are a lot of areas to ride.

Yup, New Brunswick has annual MVI and exhaust system is checked for sure. No emmisions testing though. Good luck with the purchase / sale!

well we have sold our house here,we are mostly packed.movers are coming on the 18th we are leaving here on the 20th,then leaving alberta on the 22nd.should take us approx 8-9 days to make it to our new house in Petitcodiac.with a 3year old and hauling toyhauler loaded with quads and what ever the movers won't allow in the moving truck.but atleast it will give a chance to see the countryside all be it wont get interesting until we get pass manitoba.
Hope everyone is recovering from the sad incident that happened.I really cant express enough how sorry we are about what happened it is an unforgivible act of cowardness.
Later all and peace be with you.

Good luck on your trip. When you cross from Ontario into QUebec watch for autoroute 30. That is the new toll road that bypasses Montreal. SOOOOOOOO much better than driving through Montreal. Roads in northern Quebec are a little rough and there is a fair bit on construction going on. From Riviere du Loupe to the New Brunswick border is under a constant state of construction. Several 70 KM/hr zones. Watch for the QPP (Quebec police) they are fairly heavy in the construction zones.

Well we made it,only a couple issues, flat tire on trailer and lost voltage on truck in Saskatchewan.had to jump truck three times but made it here.Movers didn't show up until 5 days later,so we had to still live out of the trailer. Now it is time to find a lawnmower, figure out how to fix the truck problem and have some fun,oh yeah and unpack.
