Will a 1998.5 PCM (the Computer on the firewall) work on a 1998 12v, i maybe wrong but the computer on the side of the block of a 24v controls the motor right. the PCM on the firewall controls the information to the instrument cluster?

Will not work on a 12v and I think a 1998 12v PCM cam only be from a 1998 and not a older 2nd Gen.
