awe c'mon

It is also a symptom of my eyes working too,but is it normal for this vehicle? I just bought it a few days ago.

I once cracked the head on my diesel mercedes before and it only took one second.

thanks

yea its normal if you watch it right when it goes to 190 it will go a little over then drop under then go back to 190. its just the coolant cycling through but it should only do it 1 time then stay around 190.

Its a common thing with the early trucks from what I hear and see in mine. Later models fixed the problem by moving the sender unit to an area that does not fluctuate as much. There is a thermostat that will make it a little better, but from the posts I have seen, some guys have problems when they load the motor up so I would just leave it.
