Hey guys, I have a 1992 350 that appears to be leaking between the vaccum pump and timing chain cover. I tried replacing the gasket there but it still leaks quite a bit. I'm not sure if there is a certain way to put it on but i put it on one way first and when i put oil in it started leaking so i took it off and switched it directions. Not till when the oil got hot is when it leaked. I'm pretty sure that is where it is leaking has anyone had any other leaks around that spot? Or have any ideas to fix it? Let me know thank you!

Did you check to see if the timing case was cracked, was your KDP tabbed? If not it could have fell out and cracked the case.

The leak could be from the injection pump gasket or the tdc pin (it has an o-ring on it). Mine had a similar leak and I replaced the gaskets on both the injection pump and the vaccum pump and it fixed it (used silicone on the vaccum pump gasket).
