looking to get new wheels and tires. truck will have 3" carli front lift (complete). looking to run 35" tall tires.

should I go with 18s or 20s? BS will be +14-+20. I had 20s on my Sequoia and the ride was fine. thoughts?

also is a 325mm (13") wide tire too wide? I do not want any rubbing or trimming anywhere.

I'm running +18 offset with my 20s. 35" trail grapplers which run big and I'm fine. I do have control arms with my kit though. Without arms I think you would still be ok with a similar offset.

i will be running control arms. the wheels I am heavily considering have +14 offset, so 5.5" backspacing.

I am going to run an at tire and it seems like the 2 companies I am looking at do not have a 35x12... they are all 325mm (13") wide

ideas?

Just metric sizing. If you look at the trail grapplers specs in a 35x12.5x20 they are listed as 13.3 wide if I remember right. I had the same concerns because of this but they fit fine. If you have control arms a and teac bar I wouldn't be worried.

I was looking at Nitto Terras or Toyo Open Country A/T, but I just realized both are only D rated in a 35. So now I will be looking at something else, probably Duratracs. I want a good A/T tire for the summer.


Now, should I go with 18's or 20's? I like the 20 look, but how much ride quality is sacraficed? Will an 18" 35" tire ride that much better than a 20"?:confused013:
