Just bought an 02 (my first cummins) & am having some problems. While driving it spit & spuddered twice & shut off. Had to have it towed. Found a 1689 (FIPM unable to communicate w/ECM) & 1693 (code in JTEC controller) codes. Has fuel to injection pump. Can anyone help. Thanks.
