15000Km later and now I have a tranny issue

Hi All,

A little back ground; Truck is a 2012 Laramie Crew 4x4 auto. Did a full H&S delete with AFE 4" TBE to it, after about 2500km on the odo. Played around with all the tune settings and after a month or so I felt that it ran best in the middlie setting "wild". After a couple month I figured that pulling my small racebike trailers (7-10K) that I needed more Power! So at 39000km i went to my local speedshop and had the Industrial Injection add a turbo system with wastegate), GDP Intake, GDP gridheater delete/relocate, ADP625 studs, ATS Co-pilot, Mag-Hytec front diff & trans covers, AFE rear diff cover & Isspro tri-pod gauges... I'm sure there could be more, but off the top of my head, that what I remember. Anyways, too the issue.

Now with 54000km, I started driving down the highway and all was normal. I was taking it easy as the temps where all cold still and I had a 800km trip right in front of me. Then al of the sudden, the check engine light dings on and the truck drops immediately into 4th gear. I was on cruise control @ 105km (66mph), so I cancelled that out and began pulling over slowly and started seeing if I could manage to manually get it to go back into 6th gear. She was having none of it. Then I could tell that the shifting feel noticably slipping in and out of the gears. At a complete stop, I checked the under the truck to see if there were any leaks or anything else visable. Nothing. Shut her down and then looked to see what the codes where on the H&S. I didn't write down what the exact code was, but the description was "Gear 6 incorrect ratio". So while its 5am and I'm pondering what to do, I clear the codes and start her back up. I start moving again, very gingerly and take the power tunes to "no power" (not that there was any on, as the coolent temp was still to low for it to activate.) The tranny felt the same (normal) up until fifth gear, once in fifth it almost wanted to jump right into 6th and then back out again. It did this a few times, so i continued to drive slowly (80Km) and shifted it back down to 4th. New codes appered and I drove for maybe a km to a reststop. So again, while wondering what to do, I notice that my Co-Pilot is flashing, as well now as well. WTH? (The new codes on the H&S are P07032 "gear 2 incorrect ratio" & P07035 "gear 5 incorrect ratio")

So I've taken the truck back to the shop and I'll have to touch base with them tomorrow. I'm hoping positvly that the Co-Pilot is the cause of this right now and I'm not in the need of a new tranny, but who knows? Any thoughts? Tranny issue or ATS issue or combo?

Thanks
~S

It's unusual to get Gear Ratio Error faults in two different gears which use different clutches. P0732 Gear Ratio Error in 2nd indicates slippage in the UD or 2C clutch, while P0735 Gear Ratio Error in 5th indicates slippage in the OD or 4C clutch. So I'm wondering if you have a Line Pressure problem (low LP, or an LP sensor that is giving a false [high] reading). Have your dealer check it out. They should read the DTC Event Data (a lock of data that gets written into memory when a fault is set) to see what the Line Pressure (and Desired Line Pressure) were. Also, check the LP Duty Cycle in the DTC Event Data. It should be about 5%. If it's higher, I would check for a bad LP sensor.
