so i noticed that fabtech make a lift a-arm for dodge 1500 2wds. while looking at my buddys 99 dodge 1500 2wd front suspension i noticed mine mounts exactly the same. can i use the 1500 upper control arms on my 2500 diesel with a cut 4x4 coil? any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. i can only think the reason people dont use them is because the trucks have diff size ball joints or maby the metal arms are to thin for the weight of a diesel.

i wouldn't cut the coil, you'll lose spring capacity

buy new springs, or have them made

the 2wd a-arm's are asymmetrical on 1500's, IDK if same holds true for 2500's

get a set of junkyard 1500 a-arms and see if they work, if they do the aftermarket ones would more than likely fit.
