Wow, 15k miles on a stock truck it seems like one of the injectors decided to give up to the ghost and dump fuel in the crankcase, whole underside/back of my truck is covered in diesel/oil, so much for a nice truck...
Still under warranty, but I guess ill see if they try to weasel out of it somehow...:(

Great start to superbowl weekend.

They have to show that the mods created the damage. If your mods are cosmetic, there is no connection to the powertrain. Now if you had a bunch of engine and fuel system mods, then ya, you could be out of pocket on repairs. Keep us posted!

check the fuel filter canister for any water.
if there is, wipe out the canister, change the fuel filter, drive for 50 miles and check for water again.

if water shows up again, drop the tank and drain
Dodge will deny warranty on injectors and fuel system if there is any signs or water or water damage in the fuel system.

high pressure soap wash at truck stop will blow the mess off the bottom

Yep, heck I bought the truck with 9k miles, changed the oil twice, fuel filter at 11k, nothing really else to service:(

Yeah, there werent any mods/fuel mods at all. I was actually about to put on a 2micron setup this weekend, glad I didnt before this happened...

Its only 4k miles old, and honestly I cant drive the truck around at all, its basically pushed all the oil out of the crankcase and its pretty much just diesel at this point, still ran ok up to this point(no noise, no stumble, egts fine, boost fine) but the oil slick on the bottom of the truck/back keeps me from wanting to drive it at all till its in the shop...

Check for water in the fuel filter. If you find it they will deny the warranty, and you will have to go after the fuel station. Also have receipts ready showing service performed at the prescribed intervals or they will deny your warranty. Be ready, if they call water, tell them you will be right there. Go and ask to see the evidence of water damage/ collect a fuel sample yourself. Good luck. Keep us posted.

This is sad... 16,000 miles and they are already trying to deny the warranty. Hope Wade posts up about their assumption of an alarm module being a programmer.

Good luck man... Hopefully they will do the right thing

Well, verdict so far, injectors 4&5 are leaking pretty good, they say the engine is fine otherwise, I sure hope so, but theyre replacing them under warranty and should have the truck in a day or so.

Big thanks to Robert (CTDMecRobert) for the advice too.

They did figure out my clifford alaram under the dash was not a programmer, which is great.

how bad was the oil? was it tested? if it had too much diesel in it and the engine ran for a while id be worried about damage to internals

Im sure the internals are fine, probably just EXTREMELY clean lol. Diesel does have some lubricating properties.

r u serious?
I saw one that would leave a streak of fuel behind the truck you could see while driving it. Anything over 25 psi was pushing out fuel. Fixed injector and changed oil, still good 25k later.
