not for sure was looking at getting a cheap towrig. 180k 2wd 5 speed reg cab beat to crap. but no oil leaks or no rust. just wondering if it was head gasket. he also said that when he tries to start it, it takes a long long time and fills the parking lot with smoke. he took it to a mechanic and they said an injector is bad. i am a diesel mechanic on large diesels and never seen an injector do that. btw if you haven't noticed i am looking at buying this from someone.

think it might be trashed? he is selling it for 3k. i was debating if it was worth it. i can defiantly do all of this myself, it needs lots of body and interior work. what do yall think? the head wouldnt cause the smoke and hard start do you? i was thinking air in lines until he said smoke then i was thinking pre heater.

i think a leak in the head gasket would cause white smoke. not sure tho. it would be cool if you could buy it off him for like 2g's and take it and make it into a dedicated puller/dragger.

I would pull the head and throw on a REALLY good gasket for starters, then asses the fueling IMOP! Good Luck! Let us know what happens!

yall think its worth 3k without looking at a pic. its a regular cab, long bed. 2wd 5 speed with 180k on the clock with dented exterior and interior needs alot of work.
