at 550+ ... There isn't a big price difference. My 12 valve is on its way to 600+ (I hope so anyways) ... and trust me ... It is NOT cheap

Even at low HP the 24V is more if you look at small stuff thats not performance. Like Retainers and keepers are alot more. Valves and some of those things that have twice as many parts as the 12V. And i look at it like this. Less moving parts, less chance or breakage. So unless you already have a 24V your wanting to build. I would buy a 12V

12 valves are badass go w/ it less complicated to... when i bought my truck i coulda bought a 04 4 door 5.9 6spd 4x4 but i decided to buy the 12 valve just cause i love 12 valves and they are easy to make run all you gotta do is turn it up and take the torque plate out and they"ll run like a bat out of hell

you can get a cheaper start with 12v but they all get high as you go bigger power
True.
you can get 400hp cheap and fast with a 12v but much more than that and you are spending alot. In all honesty go with the common rail 24v they are taking control here now. More power for bout the same money and on top of that the engines are tougher so you don't have to replace studs ect. as fast

I know the 12v guys will argue this but it still holds true.

CR's are unreal ... And I will be the first to admit that.

It dosn't take a whole lot to make a 600h.p CR ... Definitly GREAT motors
