12v are very simpe engines. They are like briggs and Straton engines. Does take much for them to run and they run forever.

I've be tossing this idea around for a while now to, of putting a 12v or dt 466 in my 74 200. I love those old trucks.

466 is a very heavy engine you might be better of with a 12v 5.9.

Yes it is, but since its an IH I'm kinda leaning towards the 466 or 360.

w/a full drivetrain it wont be that bad. i'm actually about to start my own project, i have a 1950 L-110 that i'm putting an 01 4wd 5.3 drivetrain in.

not sure how hard it is to find a 12v out there, but i have a few resources out here for a few if you need one.
