I have a 92 12V that i'm using in my ford conversion, and i almost have what i need to do a Ppump conversion, I am going to try and find a head that is fire ringed, if i do a Ppump on the earlyar 12V will i need to find a 2nd gen head, or can i used either head?
Second question, is there any advantage/disatvantage to using the first gen head as compared to the second gen 12V head?

The only difference is the two bolts holes on the bottom side for the VE based throttle linkage. The later head doesn't have them drilled and taped.

Your going to be running a p-pump so that doesn't matter.

Now remember when you get injectors. You need a set with a 155 degree spray angle. Some p-pump engines use a 145 degree angle.
