i found a 95 3500 4x4 auto single cab, with 230,000 miles, i was wonderin if anyone thought it was worth it, for a daily driver/ play truck, they want 6900 but im sure would take less

Find out if they tabbed the KDP and if not tab it fassssttt!!

Sounds okay, but i would check around. I found a 97 12 valve 4x4 extended cab that was already decked out and had 175,000 for $6000. Just compare prices to save yourself some regrets...good luck

is there any way to tell if the KDP has been tabbed with out opening the transfer case?:popcorn:

I'd offer 5800 and run with it if they take it.

Hello,

What axactly is a KDP, and what do you mean "tab" it? I recently bought a 95 with 200000 miles and have no idea if this has been done or needs to be.

KDP = Killer Dowl Pin, it is a steel dowl pin you will find in the timing case of the 89-98 12V. The link to the Diesel Power article has a very good explanation of it.:thumbsup
