So been doing a little research and will be compounding my Fummins. I will be using new he351 ive bought with borg s369sxe it's got .91 rear housing. I'm looking a cool egt 480 to 500hp. I tow a bit with firewood and other stuff so want low egts. But still want it be fun around town. Mods so far are
Afc live
60 pound valve springs(yet to go in)
Full 4inch exhaust
1/2 Braided feed line.
Full ceramic s/b clutch
What size injectors? Thinking 5x12 sacs from pdd.
Also 024dvs
Head bolts or studs?
Thinking about 18° timing as I don't want it hard to start in the cold. Not that Australia has anything below -8 where I live.
Don't have an airbox or snorkel yet as I think ill have to mount the primary on the opposite side to the secondary as cause I'm right hand drive I not much space on the driver side and of how I've got my a/c pump setup. I can then run the dump pipe out the passenger side of truck away from the starter motor which is driver side for me.
I've read about porting the waste gate on the he351 and also is the spring gate a better way going then the stock wastegate?
Once it's mounted ill get massive airbox and 5inch snorkel setup mate.
Anyone got a setup like this? I've watched pdd video on it but want some real world experience's with a setup like this.
Also will 60 pound valve springs be enough. I want a very reliable 500hp. And who here has 500hp with zf6 manual. Mines outta 7.3 so will it handle the power ok?
