I have a lot planned in the air dept. this winter. (Along with a dragonslayer) I am on the fence about wheter or not to go to 120's from my 90's. Any facts on the impact on fuel mileage? Also, I was told they will haze. I hate that crap, and I figures Shane's 120's could keep the haze down if anyone's could. I apprecaite the input. And yes, I will be going to twins. (62/ s480)

A cam will help clear them up if you wanna get that deep in it. I'll be running 120's with a super B special and a Hamilton Bigstick cam so we'll see if my setup works lol.

I wouldn't run DDP's 120's. Anything tell 90 in extrude honed is fine, but anything after that and you got a haze. You might not notice it but I sure did. And I have a 03-04 truck which runs even cleaner with bigger injectors.

I would do any EDM 120's such as Shane @ Wicked Diesel. I have his 180's or so and they don't haze much, but going from Flux 3's to these didn't make a difference in smoke department. I have had DDP's and II nozzles in the truck as well. We have beat up on the subject, but the DDP or any Extrude Hone will run dirtier compared to a EDM nozzle. Also, 03-04 trucks like bigger stixs.

Are your 90's completely clean at idle? The only reason I ask is because my 90's will haze a little at times.
One says yes....
i had 90's also before my 120's...no haze on either.
The other says no.
:confused013:

I have/had BD 90's in mine and they had a slight haze at idle when you looked at the exhaust the right way.

^I attribute the slight haze I have at times to the altitude. I dont know what your altitude is in Marlyand or what tritons is in jersey. When I go back to Nebraska I do not notice the haze.

I had a set of Shanes 125's before I went with the new maffia nozzles. I did get haze at idle. The new edm'd 45% smoke half as much. The only reason I got rid of them was that I needed new bodies and wanted stainless.

George, relax ........ I'm stating facts also.

You like DDP and thats fine.

I like anything that makes a ton of power with as little smoke as possible.

I got about 150's on mine and they do not haze from an idle unless you look at it in the correct light at night (of course). My DDP90's were the same way.

no haze at idle here with my flux 100's (1.8 or2.__ whatever) With my twins they smoke at low throttle and clean up real nice once spooled, which is incredably fast.
