Hi Guys, I am new on here, I have a 91 non intercooled 12v, I am going to fit a 2nd gen Intercooler to the truck, then do some engine mods to achieve around 300 hp, but the intercooler is first, any help is greatly appreciated...Thanks

Before any mods make sure the stock air box is opened up and you have a free flowing exhaust. Then do the free mods Turning up the pre 94 Ram diesel injector pump And when that isn't enough spend some money.

Don't forget to tab the KDP.

original pump 200k+ miles, smokes a little, especially when you stomp on it
So that's the reason your replacing the IP? With that many miles the injectors should be rebuilt or replaced, If you add lube to the fuel the IP can go along time before needing rebuilt.

I do use lube in my fuel, I will try the injectors first, when I replace the turbo, mine is blowing oil into the intake
Turbo's are easy to rebuild and the kits are cheap, yea do the turbo first.

I am fitting a 2nd gen intercooler to the truck in a week or so, I want to upgrade the turbo, and mod my pump if I don't replace it, gonna do 4" exhaust, I want to end up with around 325 HP
That's easy to do with a different turbo, injectors and pump mods, no need to replace the IP to do that. Intercooling doesn't really give you anymore HP.

Best way to keep the EGT's down is not to overfuel it and your right foot.

do either of you know which speedometer gear my np 205 uses, is it the 5 tooth yellow or 7 tooth red
It usually depends on what gears you have in the axles.

Why not pull it and check yourself????? It literally takes 3 minutes and a couple wrenches. I’ll bet the gear isn’t even stripped. Speedo issues can be a lot of other things. That gear stripping is not a common one although it does happen.

I have never seen anything but a 7 tooth in a NP205, but then again, most of the 205's I have been into were Ford's.
