I have a Mitchell 3500 (Google it) that I am going to put in my truck soonish. Its a modern day BrownyBox. It is all aluminum and weighs only 83 pounds, is fully synchronized which BrowneLipe boxes were not and is a 5% Under/ 18% Over ratio.

I ran a 5831 brownie in my 80 Chevy dually with 4.56's. The .73 over was a life saver. There are several versions A-G. I can't remember if it's the C or D, but it has .86 over and 1.23 under, just what you're looking for. Shifting a non-synchro trans isn't difficult, it just takes a bit of practice.
