Is anyone running 8 ply tires I thinking about going with the fierce attitude 35 12.50 17 but there only 8 ply will that be ok on my 04 dodge 2500 four door?

I ran some 8 ply (D rated) tires in mine. They were the stock BFG that come on the H2 wheels. Did fine. Just make sure you don't overload them.

Sidewall, D's have a tendency to have softer sidewalls, so they walk a lot.

Stay away from 8 ply tires. IMHO

If it's just a DD 8 ply will give a softer ride but if you're going to haul or tow much weight stay with 10 ply.

I've run 37/12.5/17 bfg d rated and same size toyo mt E rated. I like the bfg ride better. No wear issues or anything. Unless you tow a lot with 15k or better all the time D rated tires are fine

I want 80,000km on my fierce with a mix of sled deck 30' enclosed and 35' fifthwheel. Rode good definitely feel softer sidewalls but you get used to it.
