dn't know much about the 6.7 but would like to get to know more. where is the ex. brake on those. i work on mack and volvo's and i know how much of a pain in the the emissions set-ups are on those, and from what ive heard the ones in dodges, fords and chevy's arent much different.but from what ive read on the site that getting a dpf delete kit opens up the ex and you should be able to get more of what your looking for

I don't know what brand it is. My muffler guy ordered it. It's just a 4" straight pipe kit.

I wish it was 4" stock but it was only 3"

Yeah he has done all my work for all my families and my vehicles for over 5 years, plus his machine will only bend 3" max so he only keeps 3" stock. I wish he had a bigger machine cause my exhaust would be half the cost.

He did a LS1 Z28 I had true duals headers back custom fabbed better than any kit I found with better ground clearance for $175! The cheapest kit I found was $375 plus I called around just for giggles to see how good of a deal I was getting and most shops were going to charge me more for the custom fab work than a kit!:$:

So yes I trust him very well with any vehicle I have or anyones vehicle. He does bad a$$ work needless to say.

Sorry for the long post.

A Dpf Delete Would Be Nice But There High As Hell And I Still Want My Ex. Brake And I Was Told That You Cant Straight Pipe O8's They Have Too Many 02 Censors

that is not true! H&S performnce and BADP both have DPF deletes that takes care of the sensors and you only get a soft code.

The DPF delete kits are only to remove the DPF and fool the sensors. Once you do that you can do with what you please as far as the exhaust is concerned. So as far as straight piping it, you can't unless you have the kit. The kit will throw codes so unless you have a diagnostic tool, you would need to get a programmer that can clear codes. The jake brake is intedrated into the turbo so unless you put a differnt turbo on it it will still work fine. BTW Most 5.9L performance parts fit the 6.7L. Hope this helps.

the delete kits allow you to straight pipe, have the "sensor" and keep the exhaust brake

Only way your gonna get better sound is to do the dpf delete. Just go over to the 6.7 performance parts discussion and you will catch on. As of right now doing a DPF delete or a DPF/turbo back exhaust is the only way to go. If you have any questions pm me.

exhaust brake is in the turbo. dpf delete is the way to go. don't worry about the price. with the cost of diesel, the extra fuel mileage the dpf gives you will pay for itself really quick. have heard 4-4.5 MPG more.
