Dumb question-albeit a quick one. Does my 07 with the 5.9 have an oil change light? If so does it go by mileage only or is it similar to chevy's and considers multiple factors? I've had two oil changes now at 7500 miles and never seen the light.

No only the 2007.5 and up with the 6.7L engine has the oil change light.
