I pulled out from my house got a block down the road and my 05 2500 CTD stopped dead and will not start. It has a WVO system so no WIF sensor anymore but that is the only code P2269 showing. There is fuel flowing all the way up to the rail but don't know what the pressure is. What and where is the FCA? Any suggestions would be great.

Not sure, need more details on the WVO, but you may have a blockage from this. The FCA is on the back of the CP3 high pressure pump.

FCA Fuel Control Actuator? I think...

The WVO does not come into play until 170 degrees, the engine was not even warm when this happened. I will try unplugging the FCA and see what happens - I read somewhere that was a test to try.

It just started, minor hesitation, no smoke, just like normal. How to diagnose this? I am hesitant to go for a test drive.
By the way - thanks much for the responses, this is a great forum.
