I've got oil still leaking by my CCV on my 04.5 CR. I replaced the CCV at the end of Spring this year & now this accumulation of oil on the valve cover is back.
Also, when I was installing my twin turbo set-up & had the exhaust mani off; I noticed some Oil accumulated in a couple of the exhaust ports??

Any suggestions guys? :confused013:

Here's a couple pics:

pull your oil cap off with the truck running and see if you have any pressure coming out. if you do you may have a bad ring. also i have noticed on mine that i will have a little oil on top of the valve cover. shouldnt be a big issue.

The first time I noticed the oil & replaced the CCV; I did the oil cap trick with the truck idling. & nothing happened, the cap didn't get blown off or anything. I will check again in the morning though for sure.
If it's it not that though; should I just clean the oil off the valve cover, hose clamp the hoses on the CCV, & see if the leak stops?
Checked for blow-by this morning & nothing. So I put a few zip ties on the two hoses going into the CCV to see if the leak stops.
