How possible is it and what all would be needed to swap and 06-07 computer into an 05? Reason number 1, the electronics on my truck have been acting up ever since installing a viper alarm. The canbus system acts up, I get lamp out on the dash even though the bulbs are all brand new. I think the alarm fried some things. Basically I would like to replace any and all wiring on the truck. But if I’m going that far why not add an 06-07 for efilive.

First, you don't have CANBUS, you have SCI. And second, a conversion is a total hack job.

In short, you can't. Someone used to but he screwed everyone over and turned out to be a real hack job jackwad.

Minus finding a later truck and swapping everything, you're barking up the wrong tree.

What is sci exactly? My truck already needs to be redone electrically. It’s never been right and it could be anything at this point. I thought it was the alarm I had installed but I’ve even gone as far as having viper reps come out and diagnose the issue and completely reinstall and brand new alarm system themselves. My batteries are brand new red tops. Should I just look at having everything redone with oem components are ditch the box and cut my losses?

By the way when I say swap, I mean literally everything. Like the dash, cluster, computer, wire looms, fuses everything. I’m not trying to hack into what’s existing. I want my entire truck rewired, if it would make sense to that is.

SCI (Serial Communication Interface) is Dodges' proprietary serial (one wire) computer bus system.
not sure what truck you have , but keep in mind, Early 03 are different from 03.5- 04, and some parts on 04.5 -05 are different, from 03.5-04.

The 06-07 use, 2 wire system with 3 CAN (controller area network) bus systems, for more computing power/bandwidth, supposed fault tolorence .
Basically all modules/wires/switches and electrical mechanical components, and some of the physical mounting/trim pieces on engine/body would have to be exchanged.

As far your issues,
The cluster sends signals for lighting/modules and monitors resistance in lights/wires/switches/modules, if it sees wrong resistance it will illuminate warning light.
The common issues for this are non OEM bulbs, wiring/connector issues, or issues with EMIC/FCM.

New batteries are good, but should also verify good connections including grounds.
Have you performed diagnostic test on ECM and cluster (EMIC)/FCM (front control module) ?
That would help narrow down, what is causing issue.

I have an 05 manufactured in April. I have hooked my launch tech scan tool to it and what it was diagnosing was failure of can line which is what I thought went through the cluster. The cluster has been replaced because it was fried. But get this I did a gauge test with it and everything worked except I had no digital display. The old alarm I had melted the fuse so it fried something or some things following with a complaint and having them come out to reinstall a new one with a rep present. All I’ll say is maybe stay away from aftermarket alarms.
