My 01' keeps destroying ball joints. In sept of 2011 I had them replaced by a local reputable offroad shop and they used factory dodge parts, that set lasted a little over a year and 25,000miles which isn't a lot for balljoints but considering there under a 1100# engine and how ruff the roads are around here I guess its not to bad. Then in May of this year I had them done again, this time I used XRF balljoints, because I heard many people talking highly of them. Well, I've only got 4000 miles and 5 months on them with no lift and 285's and barely any of those miles are off pavement, and both side uppers are already shot again
Has anyone had this bad of luck with balljoints? Is there anything that could be wrong with my front diff that would cause this? The whole front diff was rebuilt with the first set of joints. About the only thing that hasn't been replaced in the front end recently are the control arm bushings. Any feedback appreciated!
