01 2500 Rear Disc Caliper Metal Lines - permanently attached to the caliper hose?

About to dive into a caliper rebuild all the way around on my 01 2500 6 Speed. I bought Dorman replacement hoses but something tells me my rear caliper OE hoses may have the hard line permanently attached to the caliper hose, meaning there's no fitting between the metal line and rubber hose. Is there sufficient slack in the existing metal line to cut it at the fitting and re-flare it with a new fitting? Or am I looking at bending new lines? Add anyone know the thread for new fittings, if they are metric or SAE and what size? Thanks.
