bought this rig at 10 years old with 30k on it. Paid a crazyyyy amount due to it having a 5.9 and low miles and she was cherrrry. I have very serious plans on building a super truck. Just starting with strengthening all the runnning gear before i turn to performance. Really only looking to get 650 or so at the rears. Im designing out of 1/4" ply right now (and seemingly forever) a flat bed/ utility bed that will house my miller bobcat 250, air comp and tank, recesed fuel tank, all my hand tools, assortment of power tools, tree gear, and demo saw. as well as some odds and ends stuff like light tree and lifting/towing/recovery gear.. Im thinking of putting a dana 110 in the rear to handle the weight better. I also have a mock front bumper I built out of ply, just waiting for the funds and time to rebuild the front end.. Hoping the lower gearing in the bigger axle will solve the 48re's problem with having no clue what to do while hauling loads in the mountains. if not then a 6 speed conversion is inevitable. Other than that i think she'll stay the same hahaha thanks for reading.. any input please feel free to say so!!! not gonna hurt my feelings and i really appreciate any feed back
