Aqua and White
Second owner, first owner pulled the heads at 88,000 mile in 1968 to grind the valves and never got it back together, it sat in a field till 1995. I gave him $500.00 for it . The brakes and axles were rusted into the ground so it got a heart/lung transplant, as well as paint and upholstery
1955 Oldmobile Super 88 (Aqua and White)
I originally built an 1963 Oldsmobile 394 Starfire with dual 4 barrel carbs, cam and compression. But couldn't afford the 20 gallons of premium every time I went to Cruise Night. I put the 394 on E-Bay and it sold for $3,450.00. I paid $100.00 for 2 Military surplus 6.2 HMMWV Hummer diesel engines. It now has a 379 Cu In diesel with a Turbo Hydromatic 475. Went from 6 MPG to 26 if I keep it under 70.
