Pulled the trigger on this rig after my 05 got the 6th tranny installed. That's rite, 6. Every 25-30k miles, that nasty, stock 5.9 with a lil modified exhaust and cold air intake, ate stock trannys like popcorn.
A friend bought a dually out of state in Idaho, at Dave Smith Motors, and turned me onto my find of exactly what I wanted. And yes, going from the Bay Area in CA, saved me 4K, minus the flight there and fuel home(800$). I'm happy, but I could get better MPG's!
