My first Cummins Diesel, 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport Laramie (Rare). 5.9l Cummins with the 47RE auto trans. For the first 100k miles truck ran fine. I did put a TST box on it then quickly blew the VP44. Had the dealer install a new VP44 as well as the retrofit intank lift pump. This happened at 100k ish or so. After the new VP44 and lift pump I removed the TST and left the engine stock (never had an issue with the VP44 or intank pump). Truck lasted me another 140k miles before I sold it. Total mileage was 240k when I saw her drive away with someone else lol.

After I blew the VP44 I removed the box and left the engine alone. It had a AFE CAI, Glacier Diesel Power Big Line fuel kit, BD boost fooler, ATS Sponge, Aftermarket triple disk torque converter, Mag Hytec trans pan, Danin Fuel PSI gauge and right before I sold her I installed a Raptor 100 GPH lift pump.
