Sorry for the late response, Holiday stuff yah know. Well here is my gigantic list of what need to be done in order to be registerd in Alberta. My odometer didnt work, No connection to the pcm, abs didnt work, My fuel shut off solenoid didnt work and it had to be shut off with a pull cable haha. My driver side door weather stripping was bad, seat was ripped on the driver side a bit and the seat belt was a bit worn. The park brake wasn't working and my neutral safety switch didnt work either. High beam indicator wasnt working and my day time running light module was dead. Rear tail light housing was cracked and a bulb wasnt working. It had a pretty bad fuel leak on the fuel tank pump. My steering pump and gear box was leaking and the pitman arm was bad. Brakes all around were bad including rotors and drums. The engine had a small fuel leak close to the starter and the tranny was leaking as well as the rear pinion, and to top it off it had a hole in the bed which was smaller then my thumb. So after i went over the truck it wasnt all that bad as they said it was but now ive had to redew almost the entire truck. Everything is done now with many high end upgrades but the only thing i couldnt find is a neutral safety switch so ill just take it back in and tell them to have fun finding one or they can just pass it.

Nice Alberta Boy, I would leave your fuel shut off as is, great security to the untrained eye. besides the fail closed when they die so I'd leave as is. Sorry about the out of province but had to deal with the same issue. none the less she's a looker

Well i had to replace the solenoid to pass inspection so i have it working but may also have a manual shut off somwhere under the dash for when it does fail again. Yeah they got me for just about everything but on the bright side ive replaced almost everything on the truck other then the engine so i got at least another decade out of her!
