Pros: Power, Power, Power and oh yeah POWER!
Cons: I did not get one sooner

This truck will do anything you ask it to do and more! I have pulled a 20000# coal trailer through the hills of PA and southern and central NY with no problems at all. The 6 speed Auto/Jake brake make stopping a almost fun. We put the truck on the dyno at my friends race shop and the rear wheel HP was 405hp stock... Cummins really underates their engine. I am getting between 17 and 20 mpg depending on what I am doing with the truck. The emmissons on the truck have not caused any problems with power and these days Ultra low sulfur fuel is the norm. Cummins you have once again out done yourselves!

Pros: Strong truck!
Cons:

Traded my '02 ram quadcab sb 4x2 with the 5.9 gas engine for an '07 ram 3500 quadcab long bed 4x4 srw with the 6.7l and the 6 speed auto. I was looking for a 3/4 ton but found this 1 ton. more truck than I need, but im getting better mileage than the older gas truck! Im also making the local rice burners look bad!

Pros:
Cons: Engine burnt at 7,000 miles

Engine was horible on fuel milage, no power, dodge bearly stood behind the warranty. The engine ultimately overheated and the truck burnt to the ground while pulling a trailer in the mountains of Colorado. The new 6.7 is a piece of junk, have several friends that have been stung by them to. I highly recomend buying a gas motor until they get this blue tech smog crap straightened out. Ford and Chevy don't have anything either.

Pros: Power, acceleration, exhaust brake
Cons: Ride, lack of amenities on SLT trim

Smooth shifting, great power off the line, exhaust brake.

The ride is the worst of the Big 3 heavy duty trucks, and I'm surprised in a $46,000 truck, they don't put a mirror on the driver's side visor lol.

Pros: Great Power
Cons: Polution equip is killing it

Not recommending until they get a better grasp at fixing the sooted turbo issue. Running it harder is not a viable solution with the fuel prices and fines for speeding. I ran and worked mine as hard as any non commercial operator could and still had sooting codes at 10,000 miles. Traded for an 06 5.9 with no emmision problems to deal with!!

Pros: AWESOME power
Cons: BlueTech

i'm currently driving my dads 08 2500 4x4 qc 6 spd while i'm lookin for another. it has more power than i originally thought it would compared to my previous 5.9. last weekend i pulled a 40ft gooseneck trailer with 2 65 hp tractors on it with absolutely no problems and other than stoppin and startin barely knew they were back there. now the bad. its bone stock with 13k on it. already had the cat, particulate, turbo and egr quit. the dang bluetch reburning equip is the biggest mistake dodge made on this truck. if they'd just left it off until it was required so they could test it they would have one kick truck!!! i wanna cut it all off and chip it but he won't let me.

Pros: Great power, good solid workhorse, pleasure to drive
Cons: None, yet

Feels like it would pull a house! I love this truck but commute to work on a motorcycle 'cause the mileage sucks. But I didn't buy it for that reason. I needed something that would pull anything I wanted to tow and it does that and then some. Mega Cab is very roomy but I would have preferred the long cargo box with the quad cab instead of the short bed and the Mega but I guess it's a guy thing. Wife wanted the Mega Cab but I got the options I wanted such as Laramie, 4wd, DRW, 6spd auto w/compression brake & tow/haul setting, etc. Sirius radio is great and so is the GPS system. We call it the "Megatron."
