I've had the 1.5" Daystars in for about 18 months and I've had no issues. I also moved one of the 1/2" spacers from the bottom of the leaf pack to the top. My truck rieds perfectly level.

I have the same problem. The contacts on the lockout switch come loose on the PCB. The switch works by taking power away from the other windows. I temporarily solved it by running a jumbper between...

You have to take the bracket off too. IIRC it's a 21mm but don't quote me. Which end are you doing? I just replaced all 4 rotors, pads, pins and bushings. If I can be of assistance, let me know.

Whatever happened to the "work truck"? I looked at a new 1500 at a dealer and I wouldn't want to fart in the thing. And it's 41 grand for a half ton gasser. I'm looking at new F250's right now. I...

Thanks guys. Whould it be OK to take a BFH to the hat or should I pull the hub? They seem to be rusted on pretty solidly.

Removing rear discs

Hey all. Quick question about removing the rear discs. Do you have to pull the hub to remove the discs or should they just slip off after you remove the caliper and carrier? This is on an 03 with the...

They come in packs of 10 and there's 11 bulbs in the cluster so buy 2 packs if you want to replace them all at once. I just did mine.

First off, it's Cummins...no 'g' on the end. Second, I'd steer clear of a manual. I bought an 03 with an NV5600 and it's been a pretty costly pain in the behind. Not sure about the 05's, I think they...

Just my 2 cents worth. I really enjoy my truck but I'm not in love with it and I'm not married to it so I think I can be objective. First, steer clear of anything with an NV 5600. I got seriously...

I would read the owners manual and then do a search of one of the other 800 threads that ask the same question. In my rebuilt NV 5600 I run the Mopar lube that's specified in the owners manual. I...

I paid CDN$1.12 per litre which is US$4.28 per USG (CND$1=US&1.0105, 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres). That was last Wednesday. Meadh8 is correct about the oil companies jacking the price of diesel...

Question wheat, wheat, wheat, wheat, wheat, wheat, wheat

That's the sound my truck is making when I start out. It sounds like wet boots on Linoleum. My most likely candidates are:

1) U-joint (never had one squeek, just clunk)

2) Wheel bearing

3)...

Um...I just filled up for the equivilent of US$4.24/gallon for diesel (CDN$1.03/l)x(3.785411l/USG)x(1.09 (1CDN$=1.09US$)). A few months ago I was paying about $3.00.

Now who's getting bent over?

That's why I'm selling private. The dealer offered me $15K and I figure they'll ad at least $6K when they try to sell it. Those guys make a killing when we trade in our Cummins powered trucks.

Fair asking price for my truck

Thinking of modding my power windows

Hi all. I'm considering modding my power windows so they will open and close without the key being in the ignition.

Can any of you think of a reason not to do it?
