Batteries- if you replaced them, and the issues persist, thatís probably not it. You donít need to buy a specific battery brand, or make sure they were made yesterday, or perform some ritual to make them work. You just buy new ones, swap them out, and the fobs will work.
I would just take it to the dealer to see what they find. If they say you need new fobs, or a new rf hub, ask them if resetting it will work, and post back here.
Well, went to the dealer, bad plan! I'll be receiving my new truck next week.

I bought new ones , name brand, local recently, for the Durango. Something still wasn't right. Got my good meter out and found the new batteries were not up to the task. Next batch of batteries were better. The ones in my truck are still kicking along good.

I doubt it, but probably depends on their age. Iíd get the newest name brand batteries as possible.

Irritating but predictable. I keep a spare package of replacements in my briefcase for when the truck starts getting finicky about listening to the fob.

Had the remotes checked when it's been in for recalls, dealer says "works as intended".

It happens at random locations.
Do you ever get a key fob has left the vehicle message when youíre driving?
I'm pretty certain that this has happened to others, what is the cause? Key fob or the truck? Solutions?

Thanks.

Marct I will eliminate the batteries, I have replaced in both fobs several times.
