jmcmurray After my P0700 code I checked the codes with another reader and got P2509 and another one that indicated power issues. I decided it was time to redo the battery cable ends from this (and yes, that's a hose clamp holding a steel plate to replace the broken tab of the original clamp):

to the military style with lugs. The cables themselves were a bit green/corroded inside so next time there's a power issue it will have to be new cables all around.

I also pulled the transmission connectors per Broncowilly and after a short test drive successfully delivered the bales. I still need a different code reader to clear the P0700 (and or find out the deeper codes that may point to some other issue) but for now I'll just drive it.

s10010001 I put my lower overloads back in the 2500 today. Removing them made the ride a big softer but over time it started to feel sloppy. And I was surprised how often I was loading the bed, considering Iím not camping right now. It sags quiet a bit without them with even a ski boat, let alone a 5th wheel haha. I think Iím gonna save up for a full progressive leaf pack, no overloads, no spacers, and maybe some of those sulastic shackles.

For now, the overloads are back in. I did like the ride height without it (reversal leveled). It was a hair higher in the back still. So I left two spacers out. Gave the leaf pack some new grade 8 bolts too. I have air bags I can put in if needed.

You have a 3rd gen? If so, what is the bearing/race set part # for the rear that you got?

Yes I have a 92 a 93 and a 05(my second 05) and those are front hubs no rear bearings/races. But for those interested the timken 4x4 front hub P# is HA590032
