If its paid off why not just keep it? Park it in the barn and put a battery tender on it and let it sit till you get the need to drive it again. My dually sits in the barn 90% of the time waiting for me to stop driving my Challenger. LOL
In about 3 weeks I'll be hooking 20k to it and going 7 hrs.
I say keep it you never know when it will come in handy again. Mine has 38k miles and 4 yrs old now.
Another option is look up book value and advertise it or Carmax will buy it from you today.

|Squad2||Friend there's no attitude. I'm saying if someone were to approach me and want it or know someone who is looking for something like what I have we would talk. Do I beat on my things no. Its never towed, it's never been off-road, there's not a scratch on the bed. I like over engineering and making things last. All I've done here is get rid of the things I didn't like in stock form. Why did I do this and now it sits? Bc her and I separated and I had to move. I drive my 98 Pontiac bonie about 600 miles a week. I simply don't want to drive this truck like that. I'm not the kinda person that spends 100K on a truck, tear it up then try to sucker some random Joe into buying it. I had a guy approach me and ask me what I would sell it for. Buddy I've never thought about it. So that's why I started this thread. Out of curiosity.|

Your truck is illegal, so right there you've just eliminated a very large portion of prospective 4th gen buyers. Many of us need to have emissions checks. That says nothing of the turn-off of a heavily modded vehicle which screams "rode hard, put away wet." Now, don't get me wrong, I don't assume anything about you, but modded diesels are a major crapshoot. A lot of guys put these sorts of trucks for sale because they blew the head gasket or slipped the tranny and want to try to unload it on some unsuspecting sucker because they either can't afford to fix it, or don't want to.
Further, spending all that money and then selling it so quickly afterwards is another red flag for a buyer, and lends itself to the aforementioned situation. Again, I assume nothing about you nor do I insinuate you would ever do something like that, but it's "buyer beware" in this world, and your truck is a hard sell for a number of reasons. You're looking for a specific buyer - a niche market. Good luck.

|Squad2||I haven't even listed it yet. I have all the time in the world, no rush. More of if someone wants it I'll sell it kinda thing.|

Try looking through the on line diesel sites. (I think I used diesel sellerz)The buyer for my 2006 Duramax was found there but it was a higher mileage bone stock truck and fairly clean and about 10 years old when I sold it. I also listed it on some other sites but no real action on those.
You might get lucky and find some guy looking for a modded truck thereómaybe.

|North Maine||If you are patient and you ask a fair price it will sell. Its clean and the mods look good. To put it into perspective though- my bro bought a beautiful, super clean 2006 5.9 all built up motor/trans with 30k miles and 600hp dyno sheets for 30K. wayyyyyy more than that in the truck and mods, but you just don't get the return.|

|Cummins_Michael||Good luck with the sale. If you decide to part with the mods....hit me up.|
