I recently made the mistake of going through Salt Lake City in late afternoon. Holy cow!
It took a few hours to traverse that mess.

And it doesn't help that these days I consider it "damn traffic" if I have to wait for a vehicle at the stop sign by the main road. Which now, during tourist season, is about 25% of the time.

And I do NOT run re-treads! Virgin casings 100%!!

And the company I worked for before retirement would not run them on any fuel/hazmat rigs either.
Water trucks n trailers, yeah. But they were mostly off road anyway.

Don82146 There is a reason that I run LR G commercial grade, all steel radial, trailer ( AKA lowboy) tires on my RV.
